I upgraded to Windows 10 yesterday and my keyboard stopped working. I have a Toshiba Satellite laptop and the keyboard is built in to the laptop so I can't just unplug the keyboard and plug it back in, it's not a wired device. Yesterday the keyboard was partially functional.
Some of the keys were not functioning but others were. I checked my drivers and it said my keyboard was installed and already up-to-date.
I only asked because I don't see that model # on the Toshiba site. I see a A350-ST36011. Could it be your not in the US? Since some mogels are UK specific? Is this the driver you downloaded the Toshiba Value Added Package (TVAP) for win 7 32 bit (v1.2.28; 10-20-09 42.66mb)? Model Content Page. I went to Samsung UK website and downloaded 'SW Update', I used that to update all the drivers for my Series 7 Chronos.
I thought maybe Windows released an update that would fix the issue so I ran Windows Update, installed the updates and shut down my laptop, then went to bed. Today, I started my laptop and the keyboard was completely non-functional.
No keys are responsive at all. I checked my drivers again and this time my keyboard drivers have a warning symbol next to them and it tells me Windows could not load the drivers because they are missing or corrupt. I looked on Toshiba's website to see if I could download and reinstall the drivers but I couldn't find the drivers I was looking for.
I've included pictures of the drivers' statuses in my Device Manager. I'd really like this resolved because using the on-screen keyboard is a pain.
Downloading the Toshiba Function Key and running it worked for me too. I had previously upgraded my Satellite C675-S7200 to Windows 10 and the keyboard was not working (I had to keep FN pressed to make the other keys work). My Satellite is not included in the list of supported models for Windows 10 upgrade (but with this keyboard driver fix it works great with Windows 10. Sal_E, I'm having this exact same issue (can't type certain keys without holding down FN) with this exact same model (Satellite C675-S7200). What keyboard driver fix did you install? I tried the link posted above by Steve_324, but that goes to a support page for a different Toshiba model. If I go to the support page for C675-S7200, they do not have Windows 10 in the choice list.
